Yes, your dog's wellbeing is of upmost importance. I attended an in person course in May 2026 and will keep this updated every 2 years.
If I need to deal with any injuries or notice any signs of animal discomfort, this will immediately be reported back to you.
In the Stockport Council area, there is a limit of 4 dogs under the control of one person on parks and other public open areas.
I will never exceed this and groups may be smaller depending on the needs and nature of the dogs.
How do you Gain Access to my House?
How do I make Payment?
I can either be given access to a key safe lock or be given a key. Any keys I am entrusted with will be locked securely in a fire resistant unit whilst in my home.
Initially, I will ask for weekly payment by BACs bank transfer but long term clients can be billed monthly. If this isn't possible I am happy to discuss other payment methods.
How will you understand the Individual Needs of my Dog(s)?
How much Notice do you need to Book?
Do you walk dogs in Hot Weather?
Will my dog(s) be let off the lead?
I will attend a free of charge meet and greet session in your home to personally meet you and your dog(s) and discuss their needs.
In addition, I will ask you to complete a questionnaire all about your dog(s) to help me select the right group for them and give them the unique care they deserve.
My standard notice period for a booking is 48 hours. However, if it is an urgent situation and a 'one off', I will do my best to accomodate you.
The welfare of your dog(s) is my priority. When the temperature goes beyond 20°C, walks may be shortened, moved to a cooler time of day, changed to a shaded toilet break, or replaced with a home visit/enrichment visit.
I will not walk dogs where I believe the temperature, humidity, ground conditions, breed, age or health of the dog makes it unsafe.
Only with written owner permission, once recall has been assessed, and only in safe areas.
Do you walk Unneutered Dogs?
What if I need to Cancel?
Unneutered dogs may be accepted following an assessment, but they may not be suitable for group walks. Unneutered males will only join group walks if they are calm, manageable and compatible with the other dogs. Dogs in season cannot join group walks and will only be offered solo walks or home visits during that time.
We understand that plans change so you are welcome to cancel within 24 hours of the booked walk. Cancellations under 24 hours will be charged at 100% of the rate.
Do you walk Dogs in Season?
Dogs in season cannot join group walks. This is to prevent unwanted attention from male dogs, reduce stress for your dog and avoid disrupting the group. If your dog is in season, I may be able to offer a solo walk, toilet break or home visit instead. Please tell me before the booking so I can plan safely.
What do you do in an Emergency?
Do you have Terms and Conditions?
If there is an emergency, I will contact you immediately. If urgent veterinary care is needed and I cannot reach you, I will take your dog to your nominated vet or the nearest available vet. Your dog’s welfare will always come first.
Yes. My Terms and Conditions are provided before your first booking and must be agreed to before walks begin. They cover important details such as bookings, cancellations, payments, keys, safety and emergency procedures.
Do I need to provide poo bags and treats?
No, I provide these free of charge. However, I am happy to use specific treats you provide if that is your wish.
